Funny thing is, it's the more expensive T10 that struggles to justify it's existence.
I suspect that every CMDR who owns an FC has probably bought a T9 to use as a fuel-shuttle, if nothing else, or as a bulk cargo hauler to be used in conjunction with their FC.
The T10, OTOH, is one of those ships where (objectively) it's difficult to avoid that "Yeah, but there's something better" feeling when you're equipping it.
Subjectively, though, I think it's a very nicely realised ship that succeeds in imparting the feeling that you're flying a honking great monster of a ship.
I have 2x T10s which I use as laser miners and I really think that suits the ship's "character".
If FDev ever introduced more "industrial" content (salvaging, terraforming, station-building etc) it'd always be my first choice for that sort of stuff.... even though the Cutter would probably do it better.
FDev really need to look at the stupid issue of something getting in the way of the T10's cargo scoop, which prevents it realising it's full potential, though.
Even if it's a "legitimate" issue (some part of the ship's structure or a hardpoint blocking the cargo scoop), it needs adjusting.
