Newcomer / Intro Sad short (gameplay) story

600+ hours of gameplay and everytime I had to land on a planed at night (that is, 80% of the times) I was cursing the fate as I couldn't see well...
Only yesterday I found out I have "night vision" mode...

The End

(Sharing this mainly because there may be others doing the same :) )

Yep, that is one of those

Along with the fact that you can sell the limpets in the very same screen you are buying them, instead of destroying them (great source of discontent back then when you could not destroy limpets and people used to jettison them in the stations and were getting fined for it)
And: don't try to manually scoop things in a Python if you have hardpoints out and a big gun dangling right in front of the cargo hatch
Or if you equip missiles dont forget to rearm afterwards (they didnt fixed that, did they?)
Or dont forget your crew after equipping a fighter hangar
If you lose the canopy and the counter down is trying to give you hints that you're going to suffocate, dont despair - you can synth air
Or dont try to neutron boost without a fuel scoop (yep, this is experience talking here)
And the all time favorite, dont forget your limpets

So as not to feel left out, here is my most embarrassing one:

It was only after weeks of using the SRV when Horizons was introduced that I first noticed the Board Ship light below the fuel gauge.
Similarly to this (as in - initial SRV woes) - it took me weeks to realize that when I'm at a base/city on the surface, I can normally request docking permission in the left panel and it will guide me to my ship's docking bay.

Same here. I only noticed the light a few months ago. Was it always there or added later?

It was there from Horizons introduction - it is certainly shown on page 156 of the manual v2.0 (Horizons update) which file is dated Dec 2015 on my PC.

EDIT - redid the crop so the image includes @Chris Simon's point about finding the garage in a port.

P.S. I see their "role switch interface" is rather more polite than "crotch UI panel"? ;)
