more graphic photo realism in pics

If frontier can make princess aisling duval look reasonably realistic, why cant they do that for a Holome and the ship launched pilots and the faction leaders and the engineers. Some of them look like they have been hit with the ugly stick or look so old they are about to drop dead.
Why cant we have a bit more eye candy frontier, its not like its a new game and you havent had time to get around to it. Please think more about this.

Aisling Duval is a 2D image created by a character artist...

Even last year, when Frontier randomly released a 3D version of her, it still appears to be a composite, her hair seems to be painted on instead of modeled.

And for the future, they are doing new NPC characters for the Odyssey release, so it would be a little disappointing if they don't "new up" all the characters, including our own ones - meaning I'll look even more man-gorgeous than I already do.

On the other hand, are you just after a different picture of the actress who played the pixie? You can admit it, we won't judge. Much. Otherwise, if you like cats in real life, there's a chance you would like some of the fan art by the great artist himself, Mr @Rubbernuke ?

I know I’ve done my job right when the real-life holome gets jealous I’m spending so much time with the virtual one 💔

I wish I had a link to the old fdev livestream when they were first using holome, I believe it was Ed and Sandy, and invited commanders in to their ship as multicrew to see their holome characters.

Harry Potter appears. His ... creation ... was one of the funniest moments in the history of this game. Watching Ed and Sandy trying to carry on was something to see.

I've always assumed it was a pretty accurate version of Harry's face, actually ... :sneaky:



(someone correct me if it wasn't Harry, I think it was)

Here's my smooth pretty boy Imperial commander on my Epic alt account, throwing a few cheesy lines out to the lovely Aubri of the Ngurii Empire Party to get those juicy ranking missions. Seems OK to me. If y'all want to hire fugly pilots that's your look-out; don't involve me in your odd fetishes :D

A quick question since I have not really used NPC SLF pilots and the like: Except for the Crew Lounge, where do you actually see them?
