They're in Carcosa. You can probably find their ships in nearby systems as well. They're an anarchy faction, so it should be easy to find their wanted ships.

Those ships are actually quite difficult to find in Carcosa, because they don't control any facilities or space and only have low influence.
I've found most of them (and the final wing consisting of a full set of dangerous Alliance variants) in super cruise (no dice at the nav beacon or unauthorised installation - one at a belt cluster).
Before that wing it was slim pickings I could have ignored entirely.
Either way don't forget about the invitation mission, if you don't have that already. You'll need to get allied and fetch it from Colonia Orbital or Dove Enigma.

He accepted my combat bonds, none of which where against the Nameless faction.
I stayed in one of the HazRes zones in Luchtaine yesterday for quite some time, went to Mel Brandon and gave him bounties worth 100.000 Cr. I did not have shot any ship of the 'The Nameless' faction, he just took the bounties and was unlocked.
On my way back I found a stable POI 'Distress Call' near Luchtaine Planet A 1, where escape pods for Etienne Dorn can be found. Just relog until you have enough of them...

As you said before i found their(nameless) ships very easy in supercruise in Carcosa system, got 200.000cr bounties in 30min.
The bounties are for controlling faction there as anywhere,so maybe there is no difference in donation at that engineer.

In Carcosa by one of the gas giants 10K away I think, there is an unauthorized installation. Don't they spawn pirates? If it does, I would think they would be Nameless since that is their system. I believe there is going to be war against the Nameless there pretty soon.

Can't find the invite mission. Flying between Colonia Orbital and Dove, nada. Had Colonia Council max standing for months.
Invite mission is still from one of the bubble engineers. Off you pop.
This guy is the LAST ONE on the list. Every other engineer is maxed standing. WTH.
Someone else managed to find it a couple of days ago - maybe try all five stations in the system?
Same here, I got them in Luchtaine in a RES right next to Mel's base, and none were Nameless faction. He took 'em.
Invite does not come from bubble engineers but from Colonia Council rep. In my case I stopped over in the Gandharvi system on the highway, selling exploration data at a station called Caravanserai which brought rep up to the required level. I got the mission at Colonia Orbital (station must be controlled by Colonia Council)
Mel Brandon is the best engineer in Elite, proximity notwithstanding. And he is one of the few in the galaxy who doesn't look like he's been mainlining smack/meth cocktails all night.

Well! I spent all day yesterday and most of today rolling on the RNG mission board before i got the stupid invite for this guy.
FYI, the station that finally popped the invite was Dove. Not any of the others.
