Well CG is done. My new Cmdr on the PS4 bought a Type 7 for the CG (not Cmdr Pingmonster, he did all this years ago).

The mission was to make enough scratch to cover the cost of the Type 7 and the 30 million credits worth of top-shelf modules I stuffed into.

Managed to get into the top 25% in the last hour of the CG so it's mission accomplished.

See if you can beat the docking computer at perfectly rotating the ship and gently touchdown without hull damage. Every single time
The counter should start the moment you pass the mailslot
1. Docking is one of the easiest things in the game
2. I will never own a Cutter. Refuse to rep up with Imperial scum.
3. You should be running with Heavy Duty Deep Plated Military or Reactive Armour. So you lose 1% hull now and again. Issue is?

What gank wings? And do you think it would matter when i fly a shield-less Cutter with 784t of cargo - assuming that i would be nuts enough to take such ship in Open?
Again, this is a trade CG - its purpose is to deliver more stuff than others. Or to make efficient use of my free time.
Not to play hide and seek with gankers. It's simply not efficient to waste time with human encounters. If i want that, i jump in a murder-boat and play on the other side.
For me playing in Open is the only way to fly. Solo is just boring and so I refuse to do it, even once. Yes, in Solo you can get away with paper thin ships and maxed out cargo. Still easy to hit top 10% in Open with a decent trade ship that's kitted out properly to evade being ganked.
Oh the irony of a "ganker" switching to solo to avoid gankers in open so they can play the game. LOL. That's made me chuckle :D

Also, SCA and ADC are even more helpful when playing 2 accounts at the same time.
And this CG i will get 2 modules on each of my 3 accounts :p
As in logged it at the same time, playing on two diff machines simultaneously? I can see how they would be handy then, I'll give you that...One account is more than enough for me :)

I run this build for hauling and i adjust it by replacing the 4E corrosive with a FSD booster if i cant find source stations within 1 jump range (25.5ly).
For WHN repairs (1600 ly round trips) i used the same build as above, but with a size 4 FSD Booster and a size 5 Fuel Scoop. I was able to do 50ly jumps empty and 35.5ly loaded with 736 tons of cargo (before you ask, yes - it's more efficient than using a 50ly conda with 352t cargo, and a T9 in a config similar to the cutter can only jump 30ly)

Yea, twice.
And i did not said that is hard, it is easy indeed.
I said that is just faster to let the ADC touch down after i get the ship through the mailslot.
Especially if we talk about the Cutter - so better get one, then try coming in hot to the landing pad 😁

Well, i have not gave in to ganking. Yet.
Still considering it, but apparently i did not accumulated enough frustrations/boredom to feel compelled do it (the all time ganking excuse)
The irony is the fact some of the gankers are using the block feature to block their hunters so they have an easy shooting practice session :rolleyes:

Yea, 2 accounts at the same time means either XBox account and one PC account or both Steam/Epic accounts alt-tabbed on the same laptop
It can get pretty intense at times, no need for gankers to spice it up :D
 
Does hogging a pad in a large station even matter? I doubt there's ever enough people docked at a station to deny people pads.
Well, it is obvious you did not participate to this CG in open because that is exactly what happened quite often. Well ... you just have to spam "request docking" hoping to get a landing clearance :rolleyes:.

and cos you are spamming it so fast you end up cancelling the docking request granted and it goes to someone else!!

Ah, I remember those days in Mobius for the popular trade CGs - in the days before the Cutter - complete 'conda/T9 traffic jam at the station entrance almost every CG - especially once they introduced the fancy station interiors and reduced the number of pads ... Having post in the local chat if you were heading in to/out of the station to avoid getting sandwiched in the mail slot ... Happy times :)

No, I did not.
OK, that's a slight exaggeration. There was one friendly character, who let me offload 2 or 3 loads of cargo (about 1-2k tons grand total). That's it. Well at or around 99% Type-9 "old-fashioned" hauling 1 jump and back.

More seriously, I'm still a ways off from even seriously considering a Fleet Carrier of my own.
 
Ok, so I don't think Shot Speed or Range are available other than through this PD

Edit: Is shot speed available for anything? I don't see it as part of Focused for PA / Pulse laser 🤔
Edit2: Ah, coriolis shows shot speed on focused PA - inara didn't ..
