I think any resentment comes from frontier walking on eggshells around these people, sends them 500$ bribe boxes of stuff real people can’t even pay them for and completely ignores people who just play the game and are passionate about it.

If the love was evenly spread around I’m sure there would be less angst. I get the feeling other listed corporations handle it better. I mean it’s even with news regarding the game...

I can't remember any OA videos that I've watched that talked about ideas like this one, hence why its better just to post the idea in text format so its easier to talk about. That, and post it in the suggestions, where suggestions go- otherwise people will assume some ulterior motive to get clicks.

Personally I'd prefer people to "sell" their youtube idea video by at least giving some idea what to expect - a synopsis with main points. Either way, it's a tough contest with a wall of text considering one can read maybe ten pages of text in eight minutes.

My pet peeve is how even relatively simple instructions of doing something are nowadays in youtube form.

"Uhm... yeah... and then, then you go here, to the Apps menu. It reads apps here...this is the apps menu, so you know you are in the right place... and here are a number of icons here, as you can see. makes circles with mouse cursor..."

Well I guess the first thing I would do is whine incessantly that the creator dared to make the content in the first place to the point that constructive conversation was impossible.
