Yep and all the other story and lore changes that FDEV have planned in the branching planned Lore and events for the game...
Will the alliance leader actualy even go as they have an election if Sirius run the event... Or will they be killed with the New Fed funded bombs instead of the drive "malfunction" on the way to the summit instead... "new" weapons mean ship malfunctions are no longer needed so the feds can let the sab go to jail now..
The new bombs and weapons work hence the burning stations... If the other terrorists had not got hold of them the ships failure could have been blamed on thargoids...
True. But the cynic in me wonders (even if he’ll never find out for sure) if the follow-on events will be the same, regardless on whether Sirius or Antal “win” the hosting rights.

This is a small ship CG, however the Carrier owners can find a use for them even here...
For example, multi-account players might chose to jump a carrier once instead of flying 1 ship per every account - definitely a time save in this case.
Lot of multi accounts here then!!!!!!
Well, i'm quite convinced that a good part of the 18000 carrier owners are also multi account owners

Depends if you have other use for the data I guess. If not, you can use the CG to get credits for the data rather than it just sitting there ...Feels like a bad time to start doing the CG
Tier 3 at a push on the Sirius CG - don't think Utopia will even get there. T4/T5 no hope.

I've no engineering planned for the forseeable future and have RP reasons to support Sirius' bid.
According to Inara I'm on the cusp of breaking into the Top 10 Cmdrs.
It'll be a nice change afterwards to go BH'ing and not be constantly getting the "data full" messafe popping up.
Those cheeky Top 10 have stopped updating Inara.

PS4 here too so I hear ya on the updating of 3rd party tools.
Out of curiosity, what did you find was the most efficient way to refill on data? I tend to beat the drum around here about relog grinding not actually being the most efficient approach, but for the specific case of data materials I'm not sure if that's really true.
I was just doing Jameson’s Cobra - took longer to trade & hand in the scans than it took to gather them.
Hand in screen should’ve let you hand in any encoded material and deal with the trading behind the scenes, really.
After supporting Utopia I've switched to doing both once it was clear that this one will win. I'm top 10% in each now and will head back to JC a few times to fill up on mats - and occasionally turn some more in to make sure I stay there.
Absolutely, the interface makes it really boring to hand it in.
