I like this gaming chair better.

BTW, in case anyone was interested, this was on the set for the webseries "Star Trek Continues" up in Kingsland GA.

I'll give you a hint: that's how you do a hard right roll.

Is that you, Leadfoot?
It certainly is. I'm nowhere near as handsome as my in-game character. :)

That looks somewhat authentic. What about the beep and boop sounds?
Well, it's not the actual original original but it was recreated bit-by-bit for the web series. All sound effects are added in post production. I tried the slider switches on the transporter but was advised that's done by someone behind the set moving the fader switches up and down manually. FYI, the scanner at Spock's station - I got to look in, it's just a blue light. My immersion.....

So I told my brother about ganking and we decided to go hang out around Ms. Farseer's location. Just fly casual, just like we're checking out the area for pirates....

See that guy with the anaconda? Bet that cost him a pretty penny. Just sneak up behind him....carefully, he's almost at the body exclusion zone, phasers ready, you get the photon torpedoes ready so they hit at the same time …. and BOOM!!! Did you see the look on his face??!!!

I thought they stopped working.
They did finish up the series (ended with "To Boldly Go Parts 1&2") but there are other fan films that'll still be done there.

BTW, if anyone wants to see the rest of the images they're here:

They give tours when they're not shooting other fan films.

If I recall their sets and props were so authentic they were used somewhere else in production. This is my favourite continuation of the old series. Stays true to the aesthetic and the writing.

Don't get too many reveals like the one with the half black, half white people and they say the problem is the other guy is a different color on the other side of his face.
Nor the one where they are pontificating about why there would be sun worshipers in a society that was like a modern roman empire until Uhura says "its the son, not the sun".
Stories that engage your brain.

That's why so many people loved watching it. Vic Mignogna gave us the tour and mentioned that when Nichelle Nichols came by for a visit, she sat at the communications station and a moment later started to weep.

She said "I'm finally home."

Bless her soul.
