I'm at the Deciat system in need of some nickel for a FSD mod. Where do I look? I thought nickel was pretty common?!!

Asteroids, rocky metallic bodies I believe, but then I just farm surface crystal sites and use raw mat traders so the rarity or not of materials is pretty much irrelevant.

Grab an SRV, go to a landable planet with volcanism and some nickel, land at a geo-site, find nickel (or other stuff and then trade for nickel at a raw materials trader)

Did you bring your SRV? No? Purchase one at Garay Terminal.
Deciat 1 has 30.2% nickel. Deciat 6A (where Felicity is) even has 14.6%.
Go find rocks using the scanner, shoot them and collect materials with your SRV cargo scoop.
