Ps5, only been playing for a few days i did an early mission to earn 100 plus creds just to go to a distant system, but had to land to refuel soon as I did I got a msg saying my federation permits been cancelled, and now I can't go to Matet or any other federation areas, how can I get my permit back please (if its possible) thanks.

Nohow, you quit starters' systems. No way to return there. Just go to Galaxy.
That is protection against killers. Otherwise you would be wiped by another player in 10 mins after character creation.
I think it revokes just the beginners area. That is a normal game design.
It's a really dumb way of saying you've graduated to the larger game. I mean yeah, you read that message and it's like you've been punished for doing something wrong lol.

Don't accept mining rides on a carrier from strangers, even if they offer you sweets.
It just means you're a big boy now and they've taken your training wheels away
There's lots more permits to unlock for various systems out there (some are pretty useless, but some are pretty good).

As others have said, new players have a special permit to (try to) protect them from more experienced players. This permit is removed automatically by the game and there is no way to get it back. It's a relatively new feature, I forget which exact update it came in with (I'm sure there's a wiki entry somewhere about what updates/expansions introduced which features).
