Educator performing talk from inside an animal habitat

I’m sure that others have discovered this but I was super excited this evening to realise that I could place an Educator inside an animal habitat. It makes it look so good with the interactivity and like a real zoo.

The guests still stop and view the talk from the bridge outside the habitat. I’m really happy with this part of my entrance into my India area and wanted to share it. Any feedback is welcome.

Wow and I thought it's great that the Tourists at the Penguin Coast can't only walk together with the Penguins but also enjoy the Animal Talk while walking on the Path.

I wouldnt've thought that it is possible like that especially with such dangerous Animals. Can you show how you did this please? Or can it just be placed in there like a normal Object? If it is like that, I wonder how I didn't discover this while placing the Penguin Talk Points

It's just placed normally like other objects. I've done it a few time where it applies (my Outback Walk, with Koalas and Red Kangaroos). Of course, it has to be placed on or next to a path

Sounds great. I think I will make a Animal Talk inside a Wolf Enclosure. As far as I know this should work

Here is how I achieved it - I made a section of my habitat perimeter null barrier and passed a staff path through it into the habitat (to ensure only staff and no guests can enter). I then led a natural path from this point up to where I wanted the Educator to be within the habitat and placed the Educator speaker. No habitat gate was needed for this. I sealed the null barrier area with a piece of wall.

To make it look more natural I hid the start of the path in a building and rock work and built a cave for the Educator to emerge from. I hid the natural path post stumps with rocks and foliage.

This setup is unique and different to just having the Educator on a guest path outside a habitat or within a Walk Through Habitat because the Educator delivers their talk inside the habitat and the Guests are outside the habitat (similar to many setups in Zoos). Having guests peer through a chain link fence and see the Educator interacting with animals inside looks really cool. I did it with Indian Elephants which I don’t believe usually support a walkthrough habitat so this should work with any animals - I’m going to try with my Bengal Tigers next!

Animals are attracted and will come right over to the Educator and they can throw food in the habitat as normal. Guests don’t come over in big groups as with a normal on path setup or benefit from education in the same way but if your viewing points are strong enough they will be stopping and looking at the animals anyway.

This setup is more cosmetic and more suited to sandbox players like myself who are more concerned with look and feel rather than strategic players where you want the education bonus from the talks but a nice discovery all the same which I’ll be using moving forwards.

I've just tried to do this in my new Orangutan Breeding Center but the Educator is just walking in there and then immediately runs back to the Staff Room. What could I be doing wrong?

This is great! Im already looking forward to trying it out for myself.

That is amazing. Only wish we could get rid of that little stand (?) so it would look more natural. Or at least if it did not have the reproductors so above, it could be hidden in rocks or something.
