I should be doing this in a wing but I'm not.

Need to take out 54 wanted and battles are quite intense being alone. In my FDL, one on one is not too, too bad and in my Corvette Ican do two sometimes. The vette could use a couple more upgrades but short on materials so might go find the proper trader to finish the upgrades.

None the less it has been very interesting tackling this solo. Only 42 more to go, LOL. Most excitement I've had in awhile.

Its a massacre mission I took on for 28+ mil as long as I don't get a rebuy. Need to take out 54 mission wanted ships.
It is slow going, can only do one to two ships per run before I need to repair but have 6 days to accomplish this.

I don't have a Corvette yet but I've been doing a lot of reading up on it and I think you should post your build as even A-Rated stock there should be no way mission NPC's are getting through to your hull after only engaging with two of them in combat. My old Anaconda with no engineering was doing way better than that.

A lot of Corvette wizards here who can help you get that mission done. What's your setup?

I'm getting fired upon by 4 or 5 other ships while I take care of the Anaconda. Sometimes I can finish off a second ship before I retreat. Best I've done so far is three before making it to a station.
I don't have my build on Corolis but mainly Beams , Rail guns and Multi cannons. I'm just not done with armour as lacking some stuff to get them to grade 5.

Mission signal threat level 3?

Are there any resource extraction sites in the system? Can you grab some assassination missions for the same system & target faction? Heck, it might even be faster for you to just pull wanted ships out of SC the old fashion way to finish it if you have to repair after every mission signal source.

Ah okay you're doing those, gotcha.

What you wanna do is repeatedly ram the Anaconda (ram doesn't aggro) until his shields are down and his hull is below 50%. Then you can alpha him down really fast and focus on his smaller escorts.

You sound relatively new to the game but with a few mods the Vette is the perfect ship for tackling wing combat missions on your own.

Well not exactly new at this, have done smaller ones long, long time ago and kind of knew what I was getting into.
My vette is not fully upgraded just yet and this is putting it to the test, LOL. She's a tough ship and will try what has been advise here. Have less then 40 to kill now, will continue later on.

In a corvette with G5 shields, G5 shield boosters, 2 size 7 SCBs, heat sink, efficient beams, G5 charge enhanced distributor, G5 overcharged MC, premium MC ammo, pair of SLF, synthesis of heat sinks and MC ammo, you should be able take out many ships. I find that I can take out dozens of ships before having to resupply my SCBs.

Certain variations of the NHS 3 and 4 signal sources can indeed be a bit challenging solo.

However, an engineed Vette should certainly be capable of clearing at least 2 instances, if not several more, before needing to rtb.

If OP would care to share his build I'd be happy to offer some constructive criticism and tips.

Work on getting Prismatics for the Corvette, fill your utilities with shield boosters, weighted towards thermal mods. Also fill your slots with HR.

Weapons vary but I go with 4 Rails (2 Hammers) and the rest MCs. It becomes an easy button at times.

Take your time doing the work, don't rush.

I'm just here to salute that user/CMDRname

I am not fully G 5. Been trying to say this over and over in this thread but I get it. I am making do with what I have for now.
