Not played for a few years - One question about Odyssey

Hi all,

Not played consistently for years, but really interested by Odyssey and going to dust off my assets and jump back in when it drops.

I have one question however, but while its not a dealbreaker, i cannot seem to find an answer anywhere and figured this might be the best place to ask:

Will we be able to actually walk around the interior of our ships, or do we just "deploy" from our ship onto a planet or space station like the ground vehicle?

No. No interiors.
Fade to black and deploy...

To add, Odyssey is supposed to be a single release, not a season.

Nobody has quite figured out what that means yet.

It will be fade to black at launch, but where we fade to black is up for debate. I suspect it won't be on the ground outside our ships. This is from the last Q&A:

Q: What happens if two people land first at the same time?
In the same way that Buzz Aldrin made way for Neil Armstrong to be the first man on the moon, the control to disembark is for an individual commander and there will always be someone first down the ladder, this accolade will not be shared between commanders.

They mention first down the ladder. Maybe I'm reading to much into it, but I believe we will fade to black at the top of the ladder or lift that takes you down to the ground.

Yeah. Now that you mention it, ship interiors would be cool. Enterprising commanders could push the button while they're still in space so they could just go and look out the window at a gas giant or something.

Or try to lie flat against the glass of the type 9 canopy and look out. That would be cool.
