GALNET - 11 FEB 3307 - Conflict Between Federal Forces and Jupiter Division

a few things spring to mind here

Even though Roch is a criminal on the run, how is the Jupiter Division's control illegal? how is it any different to what already goes on in the galaxy ?

I've always understood that the Pilots federation are an independent body that shows no allegiance to the other powers or politics so how have they come to the decision to open up a permit locked system so the feds can go bashing?
The Pilots Federation are a mercenary cooperative. ;)

no, you are gonna have to take that imp hat off and find out for yourself 😜
Me being an Imperial is not my main motivation here. I just thought that the Fednecks might be interested in which ships went AWOL and defected to join the traitor. Bonus points if you spot the FNS Pioneer, the ship of Federal Ambassador to the Empire Jordan Rochester and its CO Vice Admiral Juno Rochester...

well as you are in fine pic creating form....

Going for jupiter. I don't care if he's the bad guy. He's more likely to make a new ship. Plus he technically introduced halsey to the caretakers and we'd never have known about that if not for him.

So who's everyone fighting for and why? Jupiter Division or the Feds?
Whichever side is winning at the time I login. Apparently only the winning side gets the permanent permit (if I'm reading the CG descriptions correctly, which I'm not entirely confident I am, lol)

I'm torn. Normally I would sit this one out but if an Usurper where to bring harm to my Emperor surely I would want to see others come to our aid. Should I mete out some Imperial Justice then, as a diplomatic gesture? Then again the Empire was already left to fend on its own against the NLMA after they attacked and murdered royal family. And a strengthened Jupiter Division might be of use against the Feds in future conflicts. Should I support that wannabe dictator then? Or "supply" both sides and remain "neutral"?

I would have thought the club would be supporting roch and his military background

Harry Potter!! I like the idea of trial by battle rather than facing the boredom of court though

Anyways, this story arc (with the lakon one) has been great so far so well done CM team

Well He may have been building up Jupiter Division behind their backs also. The others notice, ask Him what's up? They don't like answer, so instead of waiting for his plans to happen they allow trail to proceed. Or something like that...

A better option for the Imperial pilots: shoot at everyone. There are no friendly actors here, only Feds and former Feds.
