Jesus are we still talking about these dumbasses?
Honestly I think we stopped talking about it once the Mary Whitehouse contingent rolled in.

All of this is excluding the vague ToS and BLATANTLY selective/arbitrary/incosistent enforcement of rules.
HilariousArbitrary rule set is arbitrary and man-made and should cave if enough people demand for LatexRoach to be freed
And then took the nuclear option.
Again, entirely within FD's rights.

Fair.If you notice nobody is actually disputing that it's within their rights, if they want to they can ban everybody and don't have to give any of us a reason for it. They own the game. What people are doing is engaging in a discussion about the relative wisdom of it as a course of action, the various precedents that are set by that course of action and the implications of same, set against a background of at best semi-transparent rules. That's all really.
I suggest a diversified plan:Arbitrary rule set is arbitrary and man-made and should cave if enough people demand for LatexRoach to be freed
In essence, SpaceLoach is (or was) the master slaver.@LeoBartlet LatexRoach is the main slaver, who was banned. And idk about any connection to SpaceLoach

I have to ask is LatexRoach any relation to SpaceLoach?
You opened with a statement about learning life lessons. Well, maybe the slaver has now learned one too? No money was lost, no real harm was done to him either right? So he was banned to solo and lost a Fleet Carrier. Meh, it's just pixels right?? It's just a game. So that argument goes both ways I think. Surely we can't place the burden of all this entirely on the victims can we?
Page 42 was never the real page to worry about, that is why we saw that dreadful post at the top of it, the one written by the rejected organ. No, it's page 64 you have to look out for, 'When I'm 64', #WISF
The "slavers" have actually lost something: their ability to play a game they paid for. If FDev wants to Shadow Ban them, they should instead simply offer them a refund as single-player is clearly not what these people paid for. They are, in fact, the most harmed individuals in this as the "slaves" never lost the ability to actually play the game.
I was going to mention that yesterday and forgot, who else thinks this is all Sandy's revenge?See they should have just let him implement his open powerplay ideas, now they reap the whirlwind!
Wait could that mean he's in cahoots with Rubbernuke?
Nope - actually the slavers won. They got the attention all griefers crave from 'big daddy fdev'.The "slavers" have actually lost something: their ability to play a game they paid for. I'm sure they're laughing it up watching all the ill-informed drama unfold as they level up their new CMDRs![]()
