What if FD now create a CG where we all have to take our FCs out to some far location, to rescue slave miners. The real slavers then sue FD for stealing their idea. I cant believe they have done this. It's going to be all over the papers.
If that were true it's going to be a long empty haul all the way home......So... err.. the slavers could now be stranded unable to access their carriers 800 LY from the bubble in solo ?

IMO these players have earned the right to become an illustrious example to the community.
FDev needs to DESTROY all existing assets aka FCs, engineered ships etc. and wipe their credit balances. That's about the only way to send a signal to other rogue players who enjoy this sort of predatory, non consensual player engagement.
Honestly what you said is trash but congrats on rolling out the ol non-consensual player engagement trope which isnt even remotely applicable in this case.

Honestly for me I couldn't care less if they uphold the ban or not, its Frontiers game and they'll do what they want. I am concerned though at the precedent its setting for a game where blazing your own trail is or was one of the headline features.
If they're going to start banning commandos for tricking others into our out of things then Piracy is going to be one of the core areas affected because all it'll take is some salty ship-less commando to message support saying he was tricked out of his credits/cargo/whatever and if Frontier question it all they need to say is the encounter took place on discord, space Nazis might have been involved and oh btw im 12.

You don't need them. You have seats, they get filled via physical multicrew (i.e. non telepresence) and you scoot off somewhere. Now you can:
Maroon someone
Do stuff without consent
Now, if you have no ship how do you escape? Can you have a panic button that teleports you to a safe place? If not, how do you get out? What happens if I don't log out and am in control of the ship? I can set course for Hutton, have a snack and do housework while you are stuck?
FD really need to sit down and think out EDO, and tell us up front what can and can't be done (and what happens in certain situations) otherwise its going to be loophole city.
