Ship and station interiors. That alone would keep me pretty happy. Walking on planets I think if it’s shooter style would be more of a pvp thing. But that’s my flavour I guess. I’ll either be in my ship for the most part or at the Cantina... the rest is icing IMO!
With Odyssey this alone would be all I need.

Yep when it was first confirmed to be space legs with no additional info I thought that too.
Sadly I think they decided that pulling a completely new player base into elite was more valuable than the spaceship stuff. Makes sense from frontiers POV for sure.

True but I think this should have been in before multcrew.
Probably at some point they thought that too, but they had already put multicrew in the roadmap, so they had to came up with the telepresence.
Of course... Late Winter (or Summer in the Southern half) and folk are bored....
I always question what use ship interiors would be, walk around each ship once then 'meh' and start screaming for rapid transit to & from the ship...
So what’s wrong with loving a brick??
Weapon animations in outfitting. They're cool and all that, but when you've seen them several hundred times...
The best thing about Odyssey for me will be having walking talking NPCs to interact with instead of those silent cardboard cutouts we've always had.
