modular terminals

okay, so, i am looking for modular terminals for obvious reasons and i have been using inara and eddb to try and find carriers selling them and even though both sites list carriers with small to large amounts of them in stock EVERY SINGLE carrier i have been to has not a single item in there commodities store to buy, not just modular terminals, nothing, as in they have no commodities what so ever. can someone please tell me why this is? and where i can just get some i dont want to stuff around with stupid passanger missions i just wasnt o get the gear and get access to the G5 thrusters, why do they have to make this so stupidly hard for no reason?

please help me

dude i have sunk far too much time into this game already, i dont know about you but i have a family i cant be on here 24/7
all im asking is why inara and eddb are telling me there are some to be bought but not a single carrier has anything in
stock to sell? is that so hard a question?

yeah okay, so maybe im just too behind to be able to grab some, thats a shame, hes such a nothing engineer and such a pain to unlock

Funny thing for me was, before I was ready to unlocking Marco there were MT everywhere on every mission board I looked at. So naturally, when I did want them I couldn’t find them anywhere; so I spent ten minutes tracking down a carrier selling them, bought them, job done!

Now Didi on the other hand, she’ll have to wait for her brandy because I don’t like the idea of some eccentric genius tinkering with key modules on my ships the morning after the night before...

You realise any mission will offer Modular Terminals right?

Or have you been reading those ridiculously dumb guides designed for people who love misery and suffering?

They are more likely to be available as mission rewards at high-tech stations. I just cleaned up two missions in a row for my latest alt at I think Aulin Enterprise(?). Qwent unlocked.
edit: they seem to be more available, and this also seems to make sense.

It continues to amaze me what people are prepared to buy from carriers. I had the idea of making mine an emporium, selling a huge variety of weird things. But I can't stock it: people buy the stuff faster than I can gather it. Why on earth is anyone buying my "Cyclops tissue samples" at max. price? I'm not aware of any use for them other than Ram Tah's mission where you only need one. Well, I'm not really complaining. :)
