Hi, Cmdrs.

The Frontier Elite Forum.

I would like to access the Frontier forum archives when the announcement was made that ED would be developed (via Kickstarter).

There was a thread with a lot of posts and exchanges between Frontier and Cmdrs waiting for the confirmation that ED would be created.

And finally there was the announcement by Frontier and the reactions of the Cmdrs.

Someone knows a link ? This thread is still accessible ? :unsure:

It seems that nobody knows this thread that I read well some time ago. on the Frontier forum (not ED forum). :unsure:

Not even the old ones ?

I believe that cmdr Alien and Cmdr TJ actively participated in this thread (it was just before the Kickstarter).

Hi cmdr, yes! there are people still out here in Forumland!

Sadly I can't you here, I only joined the forum's in December 2014, shortly after buying the game & never ventured into 'pre game release' forum's🤷‍♂️

See the thread I linked to a few posts up. Ian Phillips explains in that thread what happened to the thread Patrick is searching for (because I was asking about it as well).
It got moved to a section of the forum we can't access. Moderators can, but us normies can't.

Yes, it annoys me greatly.

I like how the first bit of Elite IV concept art released back in Aug 2000 was for SpaceLegs 😂
