So I spend a lot of time in a high Rez site in Sol around Jupiter. So tonight I popped in and saw red lasers flashing and lashing about. Got a bit closer and it was a cmdr in a Fed Corvette, I’ve never seen a Corvette before but this Cmdr was laying down the law! I was a little weary at first, threw out an o7, nothing back but he seemed to have no interest in me so we just got stuck in and it was one of those excellent sessions in a high Rez when it’s just fight after fight after fight, the red flashing of the Corvettes lasers streaking across the sky - awesome session if your reading this o7 to you.

Lucky you, it’s on my never ending ED list some where between elite combat and goid god. Was a formidable looking ship
They are awesome for pve mate, can't recommend enough - it's worth the grind.
we ran a federal ship event for our wing session this week on my server - there were a few Corvettes in there - always great to see

The Corvette is an awesome ship. Even with my hatred of the under-nose Large HP (and continued insistence it should go in favour of upping the size of the medium and smalls) it’s still the best ship for hanging out in HazRES or High CZs just “kicking a** and taking names”.
Currently running mine with two huge and two medium G5 efficient beams and two small high-capacity multis with corrosive / emissive rounds ... which, as anyone will tell you, is completely the wrong way to do hardpoints but I don’t care ‘cause it shreds anything and requires very little ammo.

Bought my first Corvette almost 5 years ago, the second one 3 years ago.
The original one is my daily flyer, it's ride is smooooth, should be called Cadillac and, it turns, the best of the bigs.
Against NPCs, when fully grown, an easy button.
The only drawback is its thruster speed, too slow to get away in Open if caught alone.

Was that the res that takes about three weeks to fly out of the gravity well when you're done? Haven't been in that for about four years for exactly that reason
It's the ship I earned my combat elite in. It wrecks.
One of my favourite ships too. Makes a great mining ship as well as combat. And now that we have FCs, the limited jump range is academic...
