The landing was pretty darn exciting and Perserverence already has a highter percentage of time the right way up on a planet than I do in my SRV! (Sounds like they're already looking at powering up the skimmer helicopter too)

Yep. Flies a safe distance away and crashes. Dies a hero, then the rover gets all the glory. Such is life on Mars.

Post landing update. One of the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory guys is talking about returning Mars samples to Earth - that is where I see lander taking this stuff of Mars... Could that be the case??
