Death to all Fleet Carriers, what what

Hello fine Cmdrs and RELSPI,

One has got to pondering (it happens when the gin runs freely), when will we be able to obliterate the scum of the galaxy from the galaxy. Obviously one is referring to FC's, what what?

This is a feature that FDev need to implement now.

PS.
I look forward to your intelligent, insightful and moderated responses, what what

I agree that many of them are an irritation however I'm sure you'll want one when they come up with a fitting skin for you:

Couldnt one just jump in the old Sopwith Camel and shoot off during a strafing run? That'll give them a good what for!

One is glad that one has started such a lively debate, who would have thought it that a topic about Fleet Carriers could mean so much?

Keep up the good work and Bally well carry on, what what

Can't wait until I can EVA over, plant a nuke (cos why do things by half?) and then press a big red button for super bang-bangs.

Maybe in the next life eh?

No! I live on other peoples fleet carriers. Free accommodation, great food, being carried around the galaxy... Snatched some espresso and a few donuts just a moment ago. They literally spend billions on those huge things and invite all sorts of spacers in.

Give me a rare serious moment to post a serious idea.

How about, instead of being able to destroy a fleet carrier, we had the ability to force fleet carriers to retreat to another system, like capital ships in CZs? That would solve the #1 issue everyone has with fleet carriers, that they take up valuable space in crowded systems.

Just a thought! (and I doubt I'm the first one to propose this)

This was suggested around the time of the beta, but at that time it was universally shouted down. Too late to implement it now I'd imagine.

This wouldn't make it a bad idea in my opinion though.

I think one of the issues in making FCs vulnerable to anything, is that you could get an FC filled with 'gankers' who basically zip round the Bubble, barging a lot of single CMDRs who have FCs out of systems, and no real way to fight back. Not least of all because I could gank your FC on my PS4 and you cant defend it on your PC.
