Newcomer / Intro Ceos rework needed

Ceos system enemies need to be reworked and reconsidered.

I created a new character and was doing missions in Ceos/Sothis when I was chain interdicted by 3 anacondas and a python and then less than 30ls away was glitch interdicted by 2 anacondas all before I had even earned 10 million credits on the character.

This is not the first time I have seen chain interdiction by NPCs or glitch interdiction by NPCs.

The enemy tier needs to be reduced drastically and chained interdictions need to be blocked for NPCs.

Ceos/Sothis is the fastest of the slow grinds, but getting spammed by anacondas is abusive for new characters.

Mining is not possible for everyone and even then to start mining you need to have something more than a sidewinder or hauler.

I know chain interdictions and they are usually the result of taking multiple missions or if it is the same NPC failing to beat the interdiction whilst in cruise, the way to deal with the first is to not stack missions the second is more complex as it involves practise and ship selection.
Never heard of a glitch interdiction and am slightly curious as to what one is.

Of course the level of the mission influences the level of any associated NPCs

Chain interdictions are of course not unique to Ceos.

'Glitch Interdiction'
Getting pulled out of supercruise within seconds of interdiction start, before either side has a full meter or engines have been damaged.
Every time I have encountered it, it has been with more than 1 enemy ship jumping behind you, either at the same time or in rapid succession (within 3 seconds)
Only ever seen it with NPCs so not sure if it is something player-related or not.

So it shouldn't be surprising if 80%+ of the missions rated merchant result in 4 anacondas being dispatched?
Just wondering, because I am less than 1 month into the game.

It is just game mechanics. You called this on yourself by mission stacking. In the mission description you can see the possible incoming enemies. They come in groups of four but only one at a time per mission will interdict you. There is some RNG if they appear at all

Enemy spawn is RNG based?

Yes - the more missions you have stacked the bigger the chance of a pirate scum NPC trying to interdict you. There is also a higher probability of an NPC coming after you if you have failed or abandoned a mission. I don't KNOW if it is true but I feel (get the impression) that the higher the "recommended rank" then the higher the chance of pirate attack.

Note that if you are travelling in supercruise and one NPC comes after you then if you win the interdiction mini-game that particular NPC is not going to try again unless you are on a long SC journey or if you change instance (like drop out of supercruise and then go back into supercruise).

One other thing for future reference, if you are in a high security system and submit to an interdiction then hang about (out of weapon range) until security turns up and engages the pirate scum - then if you join in as the enemy is destroyed you won't be interdicted by that NPC again in this journey - if you just let security kill the NPC it will magically reincarnate and interdict you again if it can.

I was in a hauler.

Did not know these things. Thank you for the update.
Just trying out other grind systems and apparently, Ceos/Sothis grind has a higher enemy level than the other 2 grind zones I have tried as yet.

That's not true ar all. I made a video series on how to go from start to very rich by mining painite. Painite has been nerfed, but you can mage good money mining platinum in the same system, but the first planet inner ring instead of the second one. If you have 6 million, you can get a T6 and jump to part 4.

While you're at Ceos, you could nip across to Robigo and do the sightseeing missions using a T6. You only need 3 mil for a passenger T6.
