Assets and retreat state.

Hi all.
If a non native minor faction has any assets and their system influence drops below 2.5 for the required time, will they go into a retreat state?

If so, what happens to their assets?

Oh right, I had a feeling that was the case. That would be easier than having to go to war with the faction for each of their assets that you want to take over.

that depends ... forced retreat can be very hard and frustrating with random traffic. and also you might end up with a lot of assets you don't wanna have.

i think it used to be controlling, not highest if... the case is so rare, i wouldn't be surprise if i misremember ... somebody tested it 2016/2027 ... might be worth it to check the old "a guide to minor factions" megathread
