To be fair, Bruce's exact words were "slated for towards the end of this month" and this was during February .... so what else is someone supposed to infer from that?

Listening to all of what Bruce says, instead of just a part-sentence, is advised.
The video was from 2 weeks ago ...
"Yeah so Kyzen asks for updates on any Dev Diaries or the like ... we don't have specific dates to announce but um ... we do have more of those kind of things planned. It's safe to say we have one slated for towards the end of this month, um and the following month obviously with Odyssey launch being so close, at least with the Alpha launch being so close, only so much time for us to share what we have left to share with you guys. Um so that's kind of safe to assume that there will be some more content on that coming reasonably soon."
Sorry Stuart, but Bruce is literally saying either a Dev Diary or something is scheduled to come by the end of February.Heres Bruce saying it on Twitch
Now, yes you can split hairs and get all literal if you want, but why then, did Bruce not add "but that is still subject to change"?
YOU might hear what Bruce said and take that to mean one thing, but you can't blame others for hearing what Bruce said and taking it to mean something slightly different.
I recon we will see some more info on how we interact with the new engineers, mission givers and each other
maybe snippets of multicrew seats being filed in ships, maybe in game scenes of how the apex travel works
Last Dev Diary was December 10, 2920. They were averaging one every 6 weeks or so. At the end of the week we will be coming up on 2.5 months since the last one. Bruce’s words, to me, seem to be indicating DD4. While I see how you are choosing to interpret it after the fact I find your interpretation far from conclusive and would point out that we absolutely should be looking for DD4 by now based on the timeline.

He didn't say Dev Diary 4; meanwhile last Thursday's livestream with Dr Kay Ross does fit what he described.
"Content creators" asked Frontier for clarification on this recently in the Odyssey Program.
Bruce clarified, very specifically that he wasn't necessarily referring to a dev diary in that livestream.
I'm glad that the rest of us got told that... Oh wait...
At this point I'm starting to worry about whether Odysseus will get around to launching his ship from the beaches of Troy in 2021, let alone get halfway to getting most of his crew killed...

They did say that Alpha is due Early Spring (March) and game launch late Spring (May). With consoles launch late summer early autumn (August / September)
Consoles were said to be Autumn. Not late-summer/early-autumn. I'm expecting november/december
If we get Alpha in March I will be so shocked that I may req medical attention.
... and they don't know what will happen after we die on foot..? Really encouraging for that timeline...

I see they respectfully said it can be interpreted your way, and you post an insult. This is a bad look. You can share your opinion without belittling others.
I took it as to mean DD4, and I love Dr. Kay and listening to her, but that was hardly inline with a Dev diary giving us information on the game.
