NPC's can get past the anti-cheat.

A NPC will interdict you, drop you out of cruise and then find you have nothing.
You are in a bigger ship that can mass lock them, but before you can turn and catch up, they have already gone back into cruise. The only way they can do that is by cycling up the FSD almost as soon as they drop out.

Why don't they have the cooldown that we have to put up with?

I want to get that b**** for pulling me out of cruise for no reason, seconds before I was going to drop out at the station.

I think it is funny when a Navy Ship interdicts you as a security check but is immediately heading away from you without even scanning. A few seconds later his wing arrives and heads the opposite direction!

They have the same cooldown.
And if you want revenge pack up on long range rails and kill them or their drives before they high wake.

You just need to be fast and be able to pack and throw a punch

The most certainly do not have the same c/d. How can a ship come out of cruise and go back into cruise almost immediately? They might have the same spin up time, but they most definitely do not have the same c/d since mine is still cooling down when they disappear back into cruise. That means they spooled up their FSD almost immediately after dropping out.

I'm fast and can pack a REAL punch, but they drop out behind me so I have to turn to get a lock. Also, I am moving away from them, so they don't get mass locked by me which they should. Why must NPC's not have the same constraints as we have?

What cooldown do you think a drive has?
What spin-up time do you think a highwake has?
How long do you think is the range of mass lock?
