General Ship Scan Detected

Particularly during Massacre Missions, when you first arrive at the mission location, select one of the 7 or 8 targets and start firing, could we perhaps make the 'Ship Scan Detected' message much bigger to fill more of the screen because right now it's only partially covering my target. I know it's doing it's best by displaying the 'Ship Scan Detected' message for each time when one of the other 6 or 7 ships scans me, but it's simply not enough of a handicap as it is.

Maybe we could also add a noise to further distract me, something like a cat dragging its claws down a blackboard whilst a baby screams in the background and a pneumatic drill thumping away for no apparent reason.

Thank you for your consideration.

I like this but perhaps a loading bar that counts down the seconds until the message leaves your screen.

Perhaps the loading bar returns if you press any keys or move your ship.

Mock-up of an image I stole from goggle because im too lazy to log in fly to a ship to get the pop-up.

I hate to hijack your thread, but hopefully these are similar enough to warrant me bringing it up.

The target box for manual scooping gives a nice message that almost entirely covers the target and lasts long enough to often prevent me from being able to line up the next scoop until the message fades, but after watching an item hit dead center in that target box, I do think it would be nicer if I got an even longer and larger message letting me know what I just watched happen did in fact happen.

The other is the info panel on the top right. When hacking data, instead of being able to read the scrolling list of the specific data I hacked, I do appreciate the message that completely blocks the info panel to prevent me from seeing what I actually got in favor of letting me know I got something in general. Sometimes though, once that message is gone and I can read the info panel again, not enough new scrolling messages have happened to completely push the initially obscured text off the panel before it all fades away entirely, allowing me to catch a brief glimpse of what I actually acquired.

I like this. I can't think of much to add, apart from making the screen flash like a subliminal message, but done slow enough that the view actually disappears a lot to be replaced by a bright white screen saying "ship scan detected"

Do this for 20 seconds for each scan. Lovely stuff.

This. So much this. It is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in all my years of gaming.
"Hey Jim, it won't annoy the players if we put a ginormous text block IN THE EXACT SPOT where they absolutely need to see the target/reticle right? Right?"

Further proof that either no one at fdev plays the game or that they are among the most successful trolls EVER.

The manual scooping thing is insanely infuriating, an entire screen to show that message and they put it over that bit. The thing is, not only does it notify you that you did collect the item by noise it also tells you that you collected and what you collected in the upper right hand corner, making the blocking message over the 'scoop aim' window even more redundant.

At least, unimportant warning like "Last scoopable star on route" is shown for a fraction of a second with small letters in the Info panel to not affect your explorer experience... But "Adaptive zoom failed" covering entire panel is there to remind you to reduce button mashing...

I'm sure they're going to ignore all of this to work on warnings for people who don't know you cant pay the bounty put upon you.
