Video similarities (Odyssey)

For over 4 years I've been banging on about the following video as being 'inspiration' for ED (O)...#

...well watch the 'Reactor Announcer' section in both video clips..... can ya spot the similarities?? (Not gender)

I fully realise cross pollination (plagiarism) always occurs in SF,, but the first video above was 2016!

Overall I think FDev have done well so far (if slowly)... I can only hope they plagiarise the first video some more for fully populated cites in the future. o7

UPDATE:Edit: FDEV don't have to 'plagiarise'* Jordan Clarry's work...he now works for them! (Thanks to Rubbernuke for research)

*I'll admit; Very poor use of a word in this context,

Just struck me at the reactor section, that at least one of the dev's has watched the Neo City clip done by a fellow freelance Graphic Artist for his 'portfolio'.
I do hope they use his 'cityscape' in the final analysis.........................

As a professional artist I picked up (rightly or wrongly) a distinct artistic similarity 'vibe' running through both passages... guess not everyone see's what I'm perhaps overthinking... :unsure:

Perhaps as Rubbernuke says the same guy is now working for FDEV.. that I can't verify.

Idk how the laws work on this kind of thing; but couldn't it be counted as a generic announcement? Like if I said "Reactor Core shutdown in 1 minute". Could be attributed to dozens of sci-fi franchises.

Well done Rubbernuke...thats now 100% confirmed in my mind ... It is my bet that I have spotted the hand of Jordan in this section of Odyssey. According to some above I am making accusations.. NOT SO! as an artist I immediately picked up a thematic vibe/the hand of another artist in the 'Reactor Sequence' and with Rubbernuke's help...it is TOTALLY confirmed in my eyes that Jordan Clarry (Well found Rubbernuke) either directly or indirectly had a hand in this section of the Odyssey play through. It looks and sounds REAL good! o7

P.S. I'm glad that FDEV have the skills of Jordan Clarry on the team... he ROCKS! (He also does a good cityscape in his repertoire!... ready for ELW's)

Video looks great but...

I can't help feeling that if you landed a spaceship right next to a base like this then jumped out sporting rifles etc.... that there'd be a reception committee for you. Whatever the sec level. I certainly wouldn't expect the guards to just wander about oblivious!

OK so Pre-Alpha, benefit of the doubt to FD.
