Pardon my ignorance, what does '...at the CNB for the CG' mean ?Thanks! There were moments I was honestly unsure if I'd ever do it. I did about the last 15% at the CNB for the CG the last couple weeks.

No worries. I've been bounty hunting at the compromised nav beacon (CNB) in the Sirius system for the community goal (CG) that's been going on the last couple weeks.Pardon my ignorance, what does '...at the CNB for the CG' mean ?
No idea why people grind for this absolutely nothing "acheivement", especially with the way it's been abused over the years.I kinda wish there was more than just the decal but it is still nice to finally get 'er done.

Why turn a game into a job just to "acheive" something that's been debased so much that it means nothing and would have happened anyway just from playing the game?
The same reason people play for Steam or Xbox achievements or Playstation trophies, or climb mountains, swim across oceans, etc. Because they are there and you can.No idea why people grind for this absolutely nothing "acheivement"
Yeah that's fair enough, although I really wouldn't put swimming oceans or climbing mountains in the same bracket as game achievements. But each to their own.The same reason people play for Steam or Xbox achievements or Playstation trophies, or climb mountains, swim across oceans, etc. Because they are there and you can.
Yeah.Exactly![]()
Yeah.
Combat elite in a sidey? Absolutely. In a Corvette? Pull the other one.

...if you got it in a 'vette then no.
All games have easy modes.
Would love to see your statsAll games have easy modes
Bragging rights and respect. Some noob comes into your squadron and you offer helpful advice and instead of being grateful he shows his butt and starts smarting off like knows something just because he finally graduated to an aspX. So you interdict him, strip off 2 rings of his shields in 2 seconds, just in case that didn't get his attention and flash your triple elite decal and say "this is why you should listen to me" then jump back into supercruise. No idea why people grind for this absolutely nothing "acheivement", especially with the way it's been abused over the years.
