Just engineer up a Sidey to the point it can hit 745 boost, slap about 1400 hull on it, and go have some fun in the trenches.
Awesome fun

I use Xbox Game Bar on my PC but I have also used the Radeon version which works ok too, then I save to You tube and copy the link 'in post'Im an xbox player and filmed the whole video using an elite controller. You can see the reference pic pop up at about 12 seconds in when I accidentally held the vertical thuster modifier slightly too long. If your creative with the keybindings you can get pretty much everything you need in.
But how did he get it in? My viper can barely fit without scraping the side? I'm definitely interested in seeing this now.
Lovely vid Alec Turner, very nice. Nice place that also. Never been there.Nice flyin' sensei ... by coincidence I was doing something very similar myself a few days ago.
A tour of the inner structures of Artemis Lodge
Not sure if this entirely warrants a thread of its own but I decided to put my limited FA-Off skills to the test today by doing something that's only really possible with Flight Assist turned off, a tour of some of the inner structures of a coriolis station. And what better place to do so than...forums.frontier.co.uk
Bloody excellent Video, well presented but Not FA Off... I hope
Oh, Definitely 'do not' take the challenge that close to Home, A Sidey is about 5 quid for a rebuy I think
You can't be that Skint?

Thanks (can't go wrong with a spot of Interstellar soundtrack slapped on it). If you've tried doing a Coriolis trench run then you'll know that it's actually harder with FA On. Sgurr was actually there initially to respond to a challenge of mine to do the Sidey trench run with FA On (which we managed with some success). Trying different ships came later. I would imagine for the Corvette it was probably FA Off but I can ask @sgurr to confirm if you're curious.Bloody excellent Video, well presented but Not FA Off... I hope

I reckon if I done it again I could Nail it@Pug looks like I might actually have to attempt the Beluga after all. Lol
Alec I just followed your link and it seems the video's I have been looking for were there All the time.
What's this? Land a Beluga FA Off? I'm sure we can do better than that.I reckon if I done it again I could Nail it

Some phenomenal flying in those video's.
Makes me wanna get the T10 out
Seriously though, cracking flying to all in that post.
I still wanna see you land a Beluga in a station though.
Money/Mouth?
Call it curiosity.

My condolencesWhat's this? Land a Beluga FA Off? I'm sure we can do better than that.
rushes off to buy his first Beluga
not it doesn't, not as a regular substantive. it is a honorific term.No Sensei does means teacher
It was me that called him Sensei.not it doesn't, not as a regular substantive. it is a honorific term.
sorry, i knew i shouldn't have said this. i've seen your forum avatar for years and always avoided the issue but ... yeah, i blame the sake!!!you may do as you wish but in the culture that term comes from, it is very poor form to use sensei in first person. it is such poor form that there is no record of anyone doing it that i know of, and anyone doing it would be laughing stock.
btw, nice flying, sensei
(i can call you sensei just fine, you can't call yourself sensei without coming across as a jerk)
Now I know that watching these FA videos make me want to try it with my PS5 controller, but I somehow have a very, very bad feeling about this. Something along the lines" "Don't try this with a controller, dude!"
You can Google the word and it littleraly says teacher. Also the example given on google says "Sensei Ritchie". In both my video and the thread title I refer to myself in the third person; but mostly that's because I had to pick a name and Sensei is how most ppl know me here. In normal conversation I don't talk in the third person.not it doesn't, not as a regular substantive. it is a honorific term.

Z'nort this is Not what this thread was intended or posted as.You can Google the word and it littleraly says teacher. Also the example given on google says "Sensei Ritchie"
ok.You can Google the word and it littleraly says teacher.
I'm honestly not sure exactly what your trying to convey if I'm being completely honest. Referring to yourself in the 3rd person even in this culture is considered jerk like behavior. I do actually hold the title of Sensei in real life and have no problem using it in a screen name. So it's not a case of stolen valor on my part.
Definitely FA-off for the Corvette runBloody excellent Video, well presented but Not FA Off... I hope
