Not sure what you mean, the 2mass catalogue (Two Micron All Sky Survey) is a famous star catalogue imported into Elite Dangerous with the position of observed stars. You can look up that particular star yourself in the catalogue;

Ok, there's a lot of them around, there's a string of close together stars you will eventually come across all with a 2MASS name, there are quite a few stars around with catalogue names, the HIP stars, the KOI stars, you will come across them sooner or later.

It's a funny coincidence, but I have a summer cottage next to a lake that has exactly the same name as one system in ED. I was delighted to get a first mapping from there during the rush.

Another interesting thing is the search function on the map knows of alternate names at least in some cases. Found out when looking for all the stars in the southern cross constellation.
If you head towards barnards loop there is a system called Steve. It's not far from labyrinth
