Odyssey: Room with a View?

That large screen in the background.....
Does anyone know if we could connect a Playstation to it, and indulge in some Rocket League whilst we wait for the mission boards to refresh?
GTA has old retro games you can play with friends in your office. I don't see why Frontier couldn't do something similar.

Hordes of homeless commanders will be fighting over the couches in the social hubs.

Meanwhile at the bar :)

Why is this exciting news for you? I think it would be cool to be able to actually o7 other commanders instead of typing it

It's exciting because I was dreading having commanders dancing around, clapping their hands, doing a thumbs down/up, grabbing their personal parts, breakdancing, hip-swaying, and other "silly" stuff.

They would be selling these things in the store, let's not pretend they would stick to basic salutes. (Also, even basic salutes, could be spammed, causing the same problem - everything just looking dumb)

That's a good point, how would you prevent those things from happening? This isn't the town in Footloose you can't just outright ban dancing, people will end up jumping or crouching or bumping back and forth into others to physically interact with other people, which would look a lot more silly.

Commanders are gonna figure out how to make their own dances by spamming WASD and moving around in odd fashions.

You're absolutely correct too, emotes would be an excellent revenue source in the ARX shop, but maybe limit the number of times you can emote by a few seconds or something?

Really? No emotes? :(
That is disappointing. It wouldn't take allot of effort for the animators to make a few.
They've got the rigs, mocap data is cheap; I suspect it was probably a design choice to try and prevent the "less mature" from stinking out the joint with silliness. Could be put in pretty quickly if there's a perceived market, though.

Not very sure about the great views from these stations, but perhaps from the space hotels, that may be on low orbits over spectacular planets..
