This appears to be at least partially working now. I'll keep an eye on it over the next day or so.

Either Im blocking all visitor messages until they get this sorted or ill just get friends to send me very rude messages and wonder whether to report the forum to the mods :) Ive only just found out visitor messages could be read by anyone ,thats bad but putting them in New Discussions ..........

So this is where this went. Another quick suggestion: It would be great with some kind of one-click "back to current forum" button as part of the quick navigation at the bottom of a thread.

Dev posts icon does not show on the new posts search item. Perhaps there could be a generic staff icon on those posts that have dev entries (even if old - perhaps colour difference in old/new).

I at least found what was going on in IE, keep getting a message about displaying only secure content - when I click on Show all content, I can enter text. This is new, and did not happen on the old version of the forums....

I'm posting on my phone. The old forum displayed all of the graphics which was like posting on my pc. It made the forum more interesting to cruise around and was pleasing to the eye. Now it's plain old white, though it auto centres well, loads quicker and is easier to read. I don't have to zoom in and out. Functions well.

I'll ask around and see if i can get permission to go ahead and make the change on the orangered borders to a more subtle orange.

Could you right click on the page that you're having issues with, click inspect element, refresh said page and see if the console throws any errors out?

Could you PM me his username used here on the forums? This is an interesting issue, and would like to look into it some more.

Try using the non-HTTPS url to the forums; http://forums.frontier.co.uk rather HTTPS for the time being.

They were removed from the postbits to prevent people from making arguments in the near future of "Oh you regged this month, you're a noob/idiot...etc", or "My post count is larger, therefor i know more than you." Unfortunately, this will happen at some point and it's best to be proactive on the issue rather reactive. I'll contemplate on readding them to the mouse over of the avatar or adding it to the user menu section.

Liking the new Forum design, now that I've got it working in Firefox and Chrome.

The one thing that really tips the balance for me is that you can now show your allegiance to the Empire in the background of your posts!

There seems to be a problem with mixed content protection with Firefox i have to disable it in-order for me to make a post would be nice if this was fixed. Using the elite theme

The new design has already grown on me after some trial and error. I love it. Currently I use the Elite theme. Looks great.

Personally I prefer the old darker layout as it felt more like a space theme, plus the white on black text is easier to read when your eyes are tired; this brightness has already started giving me a headache even with everything turned right down
Ideally being able to choose a forum theme would be nice.

Nvm; as usual had a delve around and now rocking the Elite black minimalist theme, so almost back to what we had before.
