Did Odyssey overwrite my Horizons keybinds?

I've been playing both with no problems as far as keybinds.
Back up your binds. Every time you change them, back them up. Every update, every patch, or just not having the controllers plugged in or plugged in in the correct order, can cause you to lose your binds. Some people never suffer this issue. But, when they do, they will wish they backed up their binds.

With all the additional bindings needed in the new ability to walk on the surface I'm wondering just how this is going to work on a console. If I remember correctly, one can utilize a hotas, the keyboard and mouse doesn't work.
I've played ED one both the PS4 and the Xbox one x and recently a year ago or so a pc. For several thousand hours in total, using only a hotas. My recent purchase of a Warthog and throttle gave me more buttons to configure than my previous hotas did.
Using the old which had less buttons meant more usage of the multiplier to configure then does my new Warthog. And using the default Warthog configs ED offer's, with only a couple of reconfigurations. I've never had an issue switching from a ship to an srv. I wondering if after the alpha the ability to utilize the same buttons I do now in the two different modes of flying and driving will be possible when there is a third mode (walking and shooting) added.
Presently my bindings for a ship are basically the same for an SRV. When it comes to pitching, rolling, yawing, thrusting, forward, backward, targeting, shooting, stopping, in as much as an srv only has one weapon, I can only assume if there were more, my ships configs would be the same also.
I basically upgraded in a round about way which included refunding the other version which didn't allow any testing of the alpha to the one that does. It's not that an old dog can't learn new tricks, and that it's my ability to adapt as quickly to new things that's my issue. That causes me to wait for the release of the Odyssey to the general public. And hopefully some Warthog bindings preferences to copy.
I'm loving what I've seen thus far and will continue to follow along as the alpha's are released, but until it's release as a finished product. Will continue to play ED as I've been doing.
