What kind species of deer besides the reindeer should be in the game?

Red Deer
Moose/ Elk
Formosan sika deer

I'd say Muntjak as well, but I prefer Dik-Diks, just because I just found out that it's illegal to breed Muntjaks in zoos in the EU.

Now, something that should be considered is: would/could Frontier make the males shed their antlers in a future update? I know that the in-game Pronghorns, despite being able to shed their outer horns in real life, can't do it in the game. But is this something reasonable or what?

Red deer are essential, as they are a flagship species for Europe and I fully expect them in a Europe pack.

Moose are deer? If so, then of course the moose! I expect them in a North American pack.

I would not mind having more deer species, but I'm not that well versed in deer. Fallow deer. Muntjacs. Are Nilgai deer or antelopes? Behold my knowledge.

Yes, moose are the largest member of the deer family. In the "deer" page of the Wikipedia there's a nice diagram with all the species of the deer family. I never knew there were so many!

Moose because they're moose and whichever deer are already in the game's signs as they're absolutely redundant and really annoying me at the moment, mainly because there are so many animals in the game who don't have signs!

Vietnamese Sika Deer look great and it would be nice to get a few Species in the Game that are extinct in the Wild. I'm still hoping for a Extinct in the Wild DLC
Love the idea. What would you put in that DLC beside Pere David’s deer and probably Scimitar oryx?

I would put the Spix Macaw in there if they figure out how to make flying Birds and the Mangarahara Cichlid as Exhibit Animal (always need to google to not spell it wrong 🙃). That Fish would be perfect for this kind of DLC because its natural Habitat doesn't even exist anymore. Don't know currently which other Species could be put in that kind of DLC

Why isn't it allowed to breed them?
They are considered an invasive species and the eu would not like to have them at all in their area, not even in zoos. There are extra strict rules for their enclosure and, as I said, they must not be bred. Zoos are only allowed to keep the current ones they have now until they die of old age.

That sounds stupid to me. They can't even climb and I'm sure those Zoos do their best to safely contain their Animals. I understand the Raccoon Situation (weren't Zoos banned from getting new Raccoons a few Years ago?) even though I don't like it that they are banned now but it's relatively logical because at least they can climb and are already everywhere but those Deer, how are they supposed to get out? And why those Deer? I bet there are way more potential Invasive Species. There's already a Herd (is that the correct Term in this Case?) of Rheas living somewhere in Germany but they don't seem to get Restrictions. What kind of Logic is that?

Humans are the only invasive species I know about, them damn tourists with their rich behavior...
Rats that were introduced to Islands where they didn't live before and are responsible for the Extinction of other Species would like to talk with you about it 🙃

Rats that came from the boats made by humans you mean?
Yes, I understand your Point and just wanted to edit my Post. But I think sometimes new Species also reach Islands on Drift Wood. Who knows how many Species could've already went extinct because of that without Humans ever knowing about it?

Still nothing destroys like a human, Rats could never reach Australia on a driftwood, they need boats and airplanes for that. We never had Tiger Mosquito's in the Netherlands, but stupid Tourists took them with them from their travels towards Asia, idiots.

Zoo Leipzig had problems with authorities because of them, so... it's german logic. And we both know that german birocracy doesn't always make sense to people who like to think longer as to lunchtime.
I totally agree that it doesn't make sense. But to be fair, England seems to have a problem with wild living Muntjaks already.
With Rheas: They might not be invasive. Didn't research that

I hope they will find some Way to deal with the Muntjaks there if they are dangerous for the Ecosystem
