It would be nice if FDev would post a note saying "Whoops we goofed it up, we'll fix it next week" OR "Enjoy what you got. We'll try not to mess it up next time."

I don't really mind either way, but I don't feel like fixing this module if they're going to globally fix it next week.
Exactly this. I raised a support ticket saying something to the effect of "hey I'm sure you guys are already aware but just in case you're not..." just to see if I can get some sort of official word on it. I'll post back here if I do

Well hopefully when they get back to working on Monday somebody will pick up on it.
 
I hate to be that guy, and as much as I'd love to have a cascade and super pen rail gun, we should probably not have that in the game.
 
So i heard back from my support ticket. They are aware and are in the process of re-issuing the correct module to those that earned it. No time scale or mention if we get to keep the original module (I doubt it, its probably a straight swap) but its in hand apparently

This will be interesting if they mod my FC to alter the existing one thats not in station storage but in FC module storage...
If we do get the second one then woot. cutter will have two then...

Thats a good point. I imagine they could take it out your FC storage but if anyone has it equipped and is actively using it, it might be an idea to unequip it

I hope they put it, because this is a clearly OP module.
Not that OP. When you take away the ability to fire twice as often before having to rearm or synth, it's still only a long range rail, of which people use thousands. You even get a 10% slower firing rate. Now if this thing was both short range and long range, still 4500m range, but with +75% damage, oh boy, that's OP.
