This is correct. There is a chance that you find 8 of them instead of the usual 4.

IIRC there are some Thargoid guides that describe all thargoid encounter levels.

Yeah, I've been leaning pretty heavily into AXI's websites and videos for pointers. Still no luck, when it comes to taking the interceptors down. I'll head back over there soon enough for another credit purge
