African and Indian Animal Packs

I think most folks think of the Takin as a species native to China, but the Mishmi Takin is found in the Mishmi Hills in northeast India.

For PZ, I think I would prefer the Sichuan Takin more commonly found in zoos. My ideal China exhibit would be giant pandas, Sichuan takin, Pere Davids deer and golden snub nosed monkeys!

I think the leaks we got from 4chan are accurate with the South Africa Pack and Primate Pack coming. Says they have three ready and are working on the next five to add in. They picked Northern white-faced gibbon, Black-and-white ruffed lemur, and golden snub-nosed monkey. What do you think they should pick from the primate list?

I'd personally like to see 1, 6, 8, and 10 on the list. There's nothing about an India Pack but it could make sense to add in 7 and 9. I think the squirrel monkey wouldn't hurt and I'm good with one capuchin species.

I dont think we will see a pack consisting of only primes, cats, dogs, etc. since that could mean losing potentional sales. There are alot of people who dislike primes, or cats, or think that there is enough of dogs in game. These people are likely not to buy such packs, while if you have a pack of diverse animals, for example if the pack had only 1 primate and all other aniamls would be something different, even people that dislike primates are likely to buy it for the other animals.

Anything is possible of course, but I dont think it would be a wise choice. The leak is 99% fake.

I love the Gaur, never really thought about it, but I love it now. Please frontier add it in the future.

I definitely think Frontier could do an Indian Subcontinent pack. There is potential for a good selection of species. Unfortunately no mention of it yet.

If they did do a primate pack, from DinoGuy's list above, I would like to see either the Geleda or the Hamadryas baboon. We could make some nice steep rocky enclosures for them. One dry and the other grassy to represent their habitats. A colobus would be nice, but their long hair might be difficult for Frontier to skin properly. The Lion Tailed Macaque and the Hanuman Langur would be good choices. But that's a little off topic from the title of the original post.

Well it might be weird of having two primates that are black and white you know. If this happens and if an Indian Pack happens, then here's my pick.

I originally had the Hanuman langur on the list but I thought of adding the porcupine for diversity.

I doubt it. The 4chan leaks have never been particularly accurate. The first "leak" was the Australia Pack which everyone knew was coming anyway, and then the next was a Desert Pack (and instead we got the Southeast Asia Pack), and now they're saying a "South Africa Pack" which we also know isn't correct (there was an actual accidental leak of game files recently which pointed towards four African species we'll be receiving).

I fell in love with the hyena family, I wouldn’t mind seeing Aardwolf, Brown Hyena and Striped Hyenas in the game eventually, in that order.
