Sorry, didn't realise it was you, i was expecting @[VR] Golgot to respond.

So assuming he lied, which is what you're suggesting given that he gave the impression it was not staged. Arranging to have a gameplay session like that is a very thinly veiled "faking it" you arrange to have a vs playoff in a game and that's faking it? To pick up on a semanitic like that and use it to call the it "faked" is, well...

Its quite easy to see you rivals on the server and wait to ambush them somewhere you know they will eventually go, i've done it.

This is the problem with these arguments when it comes down to these ridiculous semantics, to save face one has to start calling people liars, its not good. :)

Believe me, I know that only too well...I just stopped caring how folk in general want to interpret my wording according to their individual viewpoint on Star Citizen...Unlike Spectrum, I haven't managed to get banished yet :D

I'm truly surprised nobody else seems to have realised...or even mentioned if they twigged... that you're Evocati either. Shocking. I was outed by accident through someone catching a mention of it from somewhere else. Think it was in one of Obsidian Ant's videos if I remember rightly :D

I never let on and they don't check my profile for some reason, i feel its better they don't know.

Nah, Lord it up mate...I did. Not that it means much...I just remember the graft I put in whilst the client crashed every 5 minutes. It was harsh before the days of the delta patcher :D

I must admit, doing the ETF stuff way back when has perhaps made me more tolerant of the live builds I see now. As Evocati, by the time the build had been released to the old style first wave PTU (when first wave was concierge only) I was about sick of it all together. It was constant though, no sooner had we done with one patch, we were onto the next...plus other stuff. I hardly had any time or inclination to actually enjoy playing the live patches.

ETF certainly isn't what the majority of folk think it is...it can be fun, sure... but if those folk seemingly so keen to sign that NDA knew what's involved, they'd probably think again. Two years of it was more than enough for me :)

If you really havent done anything it is probably faster to just go to prison. Get killed by station guns and that will send you there.

Maybe they are not trying to sell anything, but those sorts of vids do sell people on games.

And some people then get those games thinking its going to be like that (yeah yeah, do your research etc) and discover 99% of their playtime is spent hauling boxes from A to B.

Now, i'm not pointing the finger at SC specifically here. Seen it in plenty of games. This isn't a "SC bad" post.

Best fun I had in SC for this amount of money is when my intelligent ship AI, ejected me into space during QT to put in motion the grand masterplan.
To wait patiently in the citadel armor, masked as space debris, plasma rifle ready, waiting to board and hijack a passing by Caterpillar...

But then after four hours, I realized my combat knife was still stuck in a previous caterpillar and I had to hit the respawn button.

I found where to check and I have three "Failed to Comply" fines, 20 000 credits each! Paying those is not an option for sure 😅

But I wont let them kill me just yet, I allready flee from Everus Harbor dodging missiles last night. This is an interesting plot twist, there I was going to big city to spend my cash earned from hard and honest work. And got this reception!
