Yes its a slow ship, but they brought out the t9 didnt they and thats slow, yet players still use that. Maybe if it was a combat ship cdmrs would get behind this more and it would have been already released as most combat related updates have and ships.
Still doesnt take away the fact that frontier advertised it, created a 3d model of it and anounced it years ago and still not been brought out yet.

I really hope that there will be a way to kit it out for combat anyway. My thought is that it should be able to release all 3 fighters.

Or even better is it big enough to swallow the roid, extract the contents and spit the unusable rocks out its exhaust

I hope its nothing but a jumbo T7. Literally a T7 they blew the model up by 50%. Not even reskinned or different cockpit. 4 small hardpoints remain and all.
While I like the t7 jumbo idea: classic fdev What I truly long for from the Panther Clip is a ship with either a) 30cms clearance on all sides on the toast-rack, same on a large pad, or b) a new docking umbilical or gantry to enable max fantasticness. Most importantly however, is the handling. Please not a t-type tugboat. Be a Panther clipper with a t-10's worth of saturn5 boosters on it's backside, and make it boost to at least 500m/s, drift like a loon, and have 3 huge hardpoints clustered together with good convergence. I dont care if it turns like a towerblock. Id prefer it that way.
I want to take it bounty hunting & CZ smashing, I want to be able to effectively ram with it, preferably popping multiple tiddlies at once with one careering slew through a bunfight.
Right now we have a kind of progression for ships with relatively garbage pitch compared to their peers. Vip4, Mamba, Cutter. You can gradually learn the style as you move up the ship size. I would love the Panther Clipper to be the apogee of this flying style. I would go so far as to say i'd happily donate a pound of flesh, and even a testicle, to Kumoburger if it would make that ship happen at this late stage.
