Do "Founding Members" get Odyssey for free?

I was a founding member and paid £150 back in 2013 to help get the Elite Dangerous Kickstart funded and off the ground.

The promises back then included being able to land on planets teeming with life and being able to get out of your ship and look around. They were just going to come in a future update. I was ok with this. I understood it would take a while.

Now it's happened, the promise is fulfilled (yay!), the wait is over.

Except I've gotta pay MORE? :(

Surely the 1167 of us shouldn't have to pay more to get what we were promised 8 years ago?

Open the Launcher and log in.

OK I'm at my PC, reloaded Steam, it updated Elite Dangerous. I see the option for Odyssey above Horizons but the install button doesn't work.
