VR - UI elements still broken and the new hyperspace animation is vomit comet central.

I mean, it could be a combo breaker for me that I had a migraine a few days back which could be affecting me still, but the UI elements (ship and target holograms to either side of the scanner) are still broken (left eye image I think...) and the new hyperspace jump sequence is the first thing that has instilled nausea in me while playing in VR for a very long time.

Also, the role panel no longer adheres to the menu setting of 'do nothing' when being looked at and continues to pop open upon a glance at the direction of it.

Shocked to hear they haven't fixed these yet. I was worried about the role panel not getting fixed since they didn't put it in their "known issues" list at the end of the alpha.

I’m not. Every major update the usual VR UI elements get bugged and aren’t fixed for months.

I didn't notice a problem with the UI elements and I loved the hyper jump animation. The DSS was broken, as well as the landing assist holo when landing on pads (funny angle). But the main killer for me is no proper head tracking in VR, at least when trying to use a HOTAS on foot.

Seriously they didn't fix the alpha's DSS?
This was working fine in Horizon y was reported in the alfa, why they didn't fix that yet?
They don't realize that if this doesn't work we can't do exploration?
If this is so, I stop playing Elite Dangerous, (and I lose my money.)
Goodbye Elite Dangerous, there are more games in VR and I hope you resolve that asap

So to answer my own question:

Horizons remains unbroken and also still has the better system view. So for exploration in VR it's the best choice.

Unfortunately there is a bug so that horizons can't read the input bindings file after odyssey has modified it, and it will panic and reset all the bindings. So if you want to switch back and forth between them you will need to copy your keybinding files around every time.

Since I'm still out exploring I guess I will keep playing in horizon until they fix this, after all exploring on foot is kind of pointless until I've been back in "civilization" anyway since I can't upgrade my suit and equipment out here.
