Lets praise suit customisation!

So, I bought a Maveric suit, chose a loadout and klicked "Customise"... And WOW!

It turns out that you can swap helmet/torso/legs and all small details between ALL 3 default suits! Like now I wear a trusty Maveric with Dominator Torso and Artemis helm! It`s crazily cool!

Thank you, FDev for proper customization at last!

Can`t wait for same treatment for ship cosmetics!

Works for me to put the coat on (It`s in Flight Suit customisation in Loadouts Menu), but my default and bought flight suit cosmetics are not showing as avaliable - it`s a bug. (I hope.

)

There is a customisation option on your flight suit in the same place as the new suits. It crashed as I was investigating

Why? Arx don't buy themselves. My only surprise is that EDO doesn't have microtransactions for dances . . . yet.

So you definitely can use your horizons flight suit and clothing. However, unless I'm being incredibly dense you can only have one outfit lined up in your Loadouts. I can't see a way to buy additional flight suits in Jameson Memorial, so now your flight suit/outfit will actually be seen, you can't change it easily.

Also, they seem to have removed the option of an opaque helmet.

Hi guys!
My Artemis suit looks different than in alpha. There is no characteristic armor on the chest. It's just tight and smooth. Does anyone have the same? Do we have to choose this armor somewhere?

You need to put all the bits on. Got to load outs and click customise suit under the weapons slots.

I was surprised by that as well! The icons need to change to the correct ones, but it's actually pretty awesome. And unexpected.

Whoa, really? How does that work, functionally? Can you control what tools you have available by mixing and matching parts? Give an arc cutter to a Dominator suit at the cost of a bit of durability (I’d assume tools are built into the arms), or is it purely cosmetic? I’m primarily an explorer (and currently 30,000 light years from the nearest place to buy suits, unfortunately). That kinda makes Artemis my go-to, but it’d be neat to mix some Maverick in. Looking forward to trying this out.

The tools are connected to the suit type still, but you can change all the suits to look different or if there's a specific look you like you can change all the suits to look exactly the same.

I clicked that button, I wouldn't say "wow!" Seems to do nothing.

Ah, so it’s like what they did with armor in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey then. Same functionality, but you can make anything look like anything. That’s still cool. Would’ve liked to give other suits that cutter tool though.

I think you might have to save a loadout before it lets you adjust the suit, you can also do it in the shop.

I suppose it stops people from taking the backpack from the Artemis, shields from the Dominator and the cutter from the Maverick and making the META suit to rule them all.
