Guess I'm just not allowed to play.

Well after finally getting into the game and trying out the new DLC for a few hours, the game crashed on me when I was out in my SRV to do a mission and now it won't load anymore and just keeps crashing repeated. Already tried to verify cache and restart the game/steam/my pc but nothing worked. Submitted a ticket but I'm not up for redownloading the entire game again and I doubt support will be able to help much so screw it. Guess I'm just not meant to play this game anymore.

I see that your a noob, well at least a noob here on the forum. So I won't bother you and ask; Can I have your stuff?

I have the same problem. How is he a noob. Do you know how to fix this?
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what fixed it but I did log in after maintenance and it cleared my missions which seamed to fix my problem. It seems to be a problem with a mission involving downloading a schematic from a crashed ship on a planet. Your best option right now is to submit a ticket with support, though they still haven't replied to the one I submitted over 11 hours ago.

if you crash out when on a planet and it keeps crashing when your selecting either "Elite dangerous odyssey" or "elite dangerous horizons" select the plain "Elite Dangerous" option form the launcher this should load you in orbit above the planet you were on. once your recovered to orbit you should be able to ext and reselect your original gaming mode. afaik this is the only reason the plain ED only option still exists

if this dosent work then you need to wait for support to fix your issue - not sure how long its currently taking for ticket to be resolved but it was taking around 72 hours for a response

similar here. im new player and to "fix" this you have to delete your save :)
already did 3 times. always loggin off in begginner system after killin some pirates (sharur, achio station?) and its game over. Can't log in, after clicking solo play, or private, or open mode i see loading screen, then ship making 360 and game crashes.

its unplayable. you can't save progress. Too bad, it looks like fun game...

The new DLC broke a lot of stuff. They're releasing a patch at this very moment so hopefully it'll fix some of it. I do suggest submitting a ticket to the devs so they can actually look into the issue itself, just in case.

I got into a crash loop on a planet in my SRV while driving (in Odyssey). I'd exit to desktop, reload Odyssey, and insta-crash. So like the above poster said... I tried loading into Horizons, and it loaded in my ship in orbit... then I exited, loaded back into Odyssey, and all was okay -- well, okay as it can be at this point with various bugs still.

The fact that we have to load into a separate build of the game just to fix an issue is a big pain in the butt. This really needs to get looked into as a bug in itself.

This is why you never go from alpha to release without beta testing or clearing bugs found in the final beta phase

Yes people joke release
is beta but you don't sell a game which is still beta as a final finished product. Oh wait that game was NMS or is that CD project cyber punk 2077 who are currently fighting numerous court cases
