Will Frontier be offering a 50% refund for Odyssey players.!!

This is an unforgivable embarrassment from frontier. A cash grab and management push for financial release. Frontier should now star offering 50% at least refunds to players buying into a full release of Odyssey that clearly is a beta.

Releasing a game in this state with so many complaints from FPS, bugs, mission fails, crashes, missing content promised, planet tech and lots more, is poor gaming development practice.

Either frontier will comment or a forum thread ban will decide the truth...?

I like what I have played so far, so your not alone with liking it, yes there are issues but I'm sure most/some with gets fixed at some point :p. I agree that releasing it at this point as a finished product may not have been the best idea they have had. I suspect however that by the time the console release rolls around that the product that is released will be what was expected now.
Overall though, disappointing in places, I would give it a C / C+ Could do better (guess what I got a lot of on my school report all those years ago lol).

I like Odyssey a lot, even after alpha I could not play Horizon anymore, felt so crippled, like a limited demo version.

And I hate a lot about Odyssey too.
E.g. outfitting UI is a torture to use, forcing myself to use it triggers almost physical pain in me, it's traumatizing ;)

I think that a lot of negative reactions are paradoxically triggered by a very strong emotional bond this game manages to build with players.
We are angry because we really WANT or even NEED to play ED.
We want to have good time, but it's spoiled constantly by noticing every few moments how many things are broken, oportunities wasted etc - it almost hurts when we realize it doesn't really take much to have a VERY PLEASANT experience instead of the ambivalent one Odyssey is giving us at the moment.

Even in alpha stage Infinity was better looking and functional.
FDEV should have hired Flavien Brebion for this work.
Oh, did i said that he has made his game alone ?

First mission I did to replace a power regulator, bugged, had to abort and got a 100,000cr fine. Unacceptable performance from the start with 30-60 fps on a 6700XT. Combat missions have been fine but tbh I feel ripped off.

These two kind of users were very fun to observe in the forums in the last day:

"HeY I FiND OdySsey GReAt WHaT is WronG wiTH U gUys? U CrY SOOO mUcH!1" - Then it goes from top #1 seller on Steam to mostly negative reviews
"I HaVe NOO PeRForManCe IssUeS!1 YOu PC BaD AhahAh!!1one!" - Then Frontier's Staff acknowledges the performance issues

50% refund? That'd be okay, but i prefer an ARX reward.

Most of all, i prefer an Odyssey that works and is actually a Horizon's upgrade, instead of this disastrous downgrade they pushed down to production to close their may's 31st annual finance results.
