So i have Elite and Horizons pass on steam but Bought odyssey on Frontier store. Is there any way to get steam key so it's show odyssey as owned there?

Yes there is - it's in suit customization while editing loadouts, main suit skin slot, item "Pioneer".
convenience with updates - I assume you mean updating via steam.
I would say that my experience with Frontier Launcher is it's awful, but generally faster to upgrade than doing it via steam - Steam doesn't give you any choice on what to upgrade - eg: today in the launcher I had Upgrade on both Horizons and Odyssey - I could choose to ignore Horizons and leave it till later - but on Steam it just says 'updates', no idea what.
However, having said that I actually did upgrade Horizons, then Odyssey - except the Odyssey upgrade crashed to desktop twice - so I had to delete Odyssey from my HD and I'm now using Steam to update - My hope is it's only downloading Odyssey again and not going to re-download Horizons too - but the Steam UI doesn't tell me anything about what it's actually doing, just that it took 30mins to do nothing but a progressbar with no disk or network traffic, now it's downloading something and it's going to take another hour. So much for my lunch time gaming session

I think if you view the suits in store, there's a Customise button in addition to the Upgrade and Buy options.
It's actually quite cool, you can mix and match elements of various suits. BUT, for me at least it's very buggy. More often than not, you can preview the changes but not actually apply them.

I just looked in game, all my suits got it de-equipped and it can't be equipped... you can select it but it never equips.

yeah, i was there, but this is very buggy, and, i dont find the pioneer there -.- is this an livery only - usable for all different suits, or is this an additional suit?
