It's particularly bad right now. Not nearly this bad most of the time though.

I've got no time for idiots either, but a lot if it is valid, especially in things like performance, UI etc.

I don't disagree. I'm not a fan of the UI, but I'll learn it and I have every confidence FDev will fix/patch it.
As to the performance issues, that's a bit of a head scratcher. If the client is the same across everyone's hardware and it runs fine on mine and not someone else's...well that seems like a hardware issue...which has nothing to do with FDev.
It's just all the caterwauling and caps lock that's got me out of sorts.

It does tend to bring out the deep buried misanthropic tendancies. Unfortunately the wonder that is the internet gives equal billing for the sage and the village idot.
For me saying ITS CRAP! is not very useful. Saying 'ITS CRAP BECAUSE.......' is better.
A lot of people are simply fed up that FD have made questionable choices, and for things like the UI its really, really bad because its not going to change. For example, the starmap does not show a lot of information BGS and particularly Powerplay relies on...its not a bug but an oversight. How much time will be given to develop the UI more, and when? FD are firefighting on many fronts, and this is now at the expense of the wider game (the spaceship part) and its getting further and further backed up.
