Yeah I'm actually really happy with the human NPCs in Odyssey.. the new planet tech is disgusting though and they ought to be very much ashamed of it. It looks terrible! Have you seen the youtube video? It's got fake features in orbit!

I read a short blurb PCG had up yesterday pending further additions, and Nat certainly wasn't "cautiously optimistic". She was rather a bit more critical. Perhaps PCG felt bad about the direction that article was going in.

Braben admits to playing the alpha.

I want to see Braben apologize for charging people to beta has game while pretending it was a full release and I want to see him address and apologize for this https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threa...-procedural-random.577719/page-4#post-9205309 and putting forth an expansion that potentially downgrades one of the best parts of the game without telling anyone. I hope it can be proven otherwise but right now its pretty disappointing.

Most of the bad blood could have been avoided (again) if Frontier was honest and had simply released Odyssey early access (Alpha Beta Whatever) letting us know it still needed work and help polishing and was honest about the state of things. But nooooooo my financial reports. I could have accepted all that anyway because I know it would be polished in time (Somewhat) but my goodwill is fully out the window after reading the thread about the changing of the planet generation.

Do share it around as it needs to be seen... it's not mine but I'm very thankful to the cmdr who did! He deserves all the credit. But really we shouldn't have to go sleuthing to discover this stuff. It's baaaaad
