Fleet Carrier Year 1 Result

Hello CMDRs,

We are almost at the one year mark for the release of Fleet Carriers.

Since release I have been setting up Buy and Sell Orders for all kinds of commodities. In the hope it could passively pay for the running costs.
Here is my result for the first year of Fleet Carriers in Elite Dangerous.

Thanks to all the CMDRs for being suppliers and consumers, be it on PC, Xbox or Playstation!

I understand where youre coming from
After 1 year.
thousands of carriers sitting in the bubble plugging up systems.
Tritium expensive to buy and can not buy outside of the bubble and colonia.
if you want to explore with your carrier better like mining.
Seems like a small issues, easily fixed, compared to the recent dlc. Not that I have any confidence in fdev fixing it.

I have never relied on trading profits from the FC.
I do buy tritium and other commodities which I am lazy to buy/mine by my own.
The point to have the FC because it is mobile base. It stores all my modules and 40 ships I use most often.
It has 50bCr on its account which I got doing activities I like.

I wouldn't rely on this at all either. But it turned out to be fun, and I made a profit. Very unexpected.
Was lucky a few times, having low stock of LTDs when they got nerfed and same with meta alloys here in Odyssy.

It’s not just to lazy to mine for Tritium when out exploring. It’s just it takes about 1 hour of mining per jump plus time hunting for Tritium hot spot.
I would spend that time exploring, that’s why I am out exploring.
At least Explorers Anchorage should sell Tritium

Yeah, from the Codex stats. Running upkeep is calculated.
Inspiring!

but doesn't work on my side :-( (as i very often transfer commodities personally instead of selling or buying them myself, so i have a billion more spent on commodities, than earned via FC from them)

125K tons of exported commodities, 51K tons imported commodities according to codex.

I totally get why you'd do that. If only fdev gave us some more stats !!

Your tonnage is very impressive. Your FC must be a busy hub :=)

it is - i only bought it for manipulating the backgroundsimulation, and it is stocked with all kind of fetch-mission commodities (sold for 125% of galactic average), so a bunch of active bgs players use it (because you can get everything there in 1 docking). I'm always impressed how much it is used. i restock it once a week or so.

aight, and my FC has 20000t of tritium onboard which I bought using its market with 200% price and that is about 60000Ly of travels (1500Ly i my max to HIP 36601).
I don't even know how many time it will require to mine such amount.
So the FC is just a handy thing which I can afford.
