It's because you don't not want to find them, Un1I seem to keep finding these planets just like this every other system.
UNACCEPTABLE

And they are wrong. But the boring planet on Horizon where just boring. The one on EDO are both boring, repetitive and buggy. One is boring but immersive, the other is boring and not immersive. The exact same can be said about the people now claiming that horizons planets were all gardens of eden.

No, it really wasn't the "biggest event"This is big news sad to say.
DW2 was the biggest event in all of gaming.
this coming from one of the biggest game supporters, Fdev are you listening ?
ps.
what did Drew Wagar say in his spot on post ?
Not dramatic at all, honestly. It's goddamn ridiculous for Frontier to have released planet tech in this state when they made it one of the selling points of the expansion.Seems a bit of an overly dramatic way of waiting for the planetary tech to be fixed. It's sad to see Erimus write it, but then a lot of the old timers are losing their composure it seems.
I've seen very little repetitiveness. Sure, I've seen some bugs, but there were also a load of bugs on horizons launch. It took a long time for those planets to look okayish. There seems to be a rather premature and in my view a childish reaction.Let's make it simple. Horizon have a lot of "boring" planet. Odyssey have a lot of buggy repetitive planet where I can see the magician accomplice, and the strings above the puppet.
In one, it's just boring but still immersive. The other is boring and not immersive.
There is potential to be better, but the potential is yet to be realized.
Something about lore, blah blah blah. He's mad because a graveyard is missing or something. This is big news sad to say.

These are people who can't emotionally handle their imaginary spaceship geting blowed-up, Ozric.Seems a bit of an overly dramatic way of waiting for the planetary tech to be fixed. It's sad to see Erimus write it, but then a lot of the old timers are losing their composure it seems.
I don't see anything immersive about boring. Realistic maybe, but not immersive in any way at all.And they are wrong. But the boring planet on Horizon where just boring. The one on EDO are both boring, repetitive and buggy. One is boring but immersive, the other is boring and not immersive.
Frontier didn't learn from their mistakes and released an expansion in an even worse state than Horizons was in at launch. That's the issue here.I've seen some bugs, but there were also a load of bugs on horizons launch. It took a long time for those planets to look okayish. There seems to be a rather premature and in my view a childish reaction.
This. Yet not a week goes by without explorers doing their usual "omg I am slapped in the face, it's not fair, I is small and they is big!" Calimero rant. Worse, every time anyone else gets anything explorers run around yelling that it's not fair someone else got anything. I know literal toddlers that are better behaved than these louder parts of the explo community. But its like all groups in ED. Frontier dropped the eleven player groups from Powerplay and ignored them for years. Pirates continually getting nothing, criminals in general getting nothing.
I do, but everytime I post the screenshot, people ignore them because it doesn't fit the narrative. I find the other side childish to.I've seen very little repetitiveness. Sure, I've seen some bugs, but there were also a load of bugs on horizons launch. It took a long time for those planets to look okayish. There seems to be a rather premature and in my view a childish reaction.
Did you read more than 2 words ? There are bugs and lod issues and planetary tech issue all over the place. It's not immersive because you can see it's a game behind every rocks. Granted, since rock scattering is bugged to, that's not many rocks, but still.I don't see anything immersive about boring. Realistic maybe, but not immersive in any way at all.
So? Stuff happens, i'm sure they'll get it sorted before the console release in 3-4 months time. I very much doubt that DW3 would be going ahead until that time. The announcement (or throwing you dummy out) seems a bit premature to me.Frontier didn't learn from their mistakes and released an expansion in an even worse state than Horizons was in at launch. That's the issue here.
Is it not? I assume you already knew that Distant Worlds 3 wasn't even going to take place until after the game had been released on Consoles? So yes I think saying that it's indefinitely on hold when it wasn't even being considered for another 4-6 months, is a bit dramatic. Not dramatic at all, honestly. It's goddamn ridiculous for Frontier to have released planet tech in this state when they made it one of the selling points of the expansion.
Well, that's unfortunate for you. But it sounds like a bug to me, so I think I will wait until we see this road map first. I think that would be the most prudent thing to do.I do, but everytime I post the screenshot, people ignore them because it doesn't fit the narrative. I find the other side childish to.
One was done because they wanted the console player to come to, the other is done because in their mind, the DLC is not worth doing. Is it not? I assume you already knew that Distant Worlds 3 wasn't even going to take place until after the game had been released on Consoles? So yes I think saying that it's indefinitely on hold when it wasn't even being considered for another 4-6 months, is a bit dramatic.

Wait, what? It's almost like disingenuous hyperbolic drama-mongering.Is it not? I assume you already knew that Distant Worlds 3 wasn't even going to take place until after the game had been released on Consoles? So yes I think saying that it's indefinitely on hold when it wasn't even being considered for another 4-6 months, is a bit dramatic.
